Default Low Hot water pressure, until 2nd faucet opens

I have low hot water pressure throughout the house, until I open a second faucet then I get full hot water pressure wherever I want it. What could cause this? I have a 7 year old house with copper pipes.

Question: does the hot water pressure go up when you turn another faucet on, hot or cold?

Did you ever figure this out, if so I would be interested in knowing what it was. If not, do you have a tankless water heater?

is the increase only at a specific second faucet or both faucets ?

FWIW, do not confuse "pressure" (a static measurement) with "flow rate" ( a volumetric measurement)
