    Question Morning Glory and G****vines

We just planted 2 acres of Concord g****vines. Morning Glory vines are wrapping around the g****vines.

Will this choke out and kill our g****vines?

    Thank you!

    Try separating the two.

To my knowledge, Morning Glory is not an invasive species, so it probably won't do your vines any harm, however, it will be competing for space, light, and nutrients in the soil, so you should choose one crop over the other and remove one of them. Both will thrive on their own, both will suffer if left to their own devices.

    Thank you.

Yes, we have been manually trying to unravel each g****vine, but with 2 acres full, you can imagine how tedious and time-consuming this is.

Anyone know of a good natural/organic weed killer that will kill the morning glory, but not harm the g****vines? Looking ******, we haven't found anything.

2 acres - that's tough. There are some herbicides that will kill weeds but not veggies. They have to be applied before planting.
You have to do your own research to find one that will be effective. Visit local nurseries, you could find your answers there.

The Morning Glory is an annual plant and will die if the temp gets down to 32 during the winter. IF they die, you have to deal with the seeds in the late spring. But, the little plants will be easier handle and to kill.
