Default Stripping paint from an antique table

I was given an antique table and am in the process of stripping the paint. The person who gave me had put an "antique" paint finish on it. I was able to successfully remove the finish from all areas except for 1 leg. The leg has a a red hue on it. I have used liquid stripper on it and also sanded it but still can not get rid of the red. I suspect that when she antiqued it she might have forgotten to do a step of the process on that one leg. What can I do to get off all the red color and get back to its original state?

Two-part (peroxide-type) wood bleach. Follow all the precautions.

Remove not the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set.
