You could, if you install a trap and a proper vent to prevent sewer gas from escaping from the drain.

You definitely don't want to do it if you are on a private septic system. It will not be able to handle the influx of stormwater, will cause failure of the septic system, and will result in unsanitary conditions in your yard.
