    Default Off the grid flooring

I bought what was alleged to be a one room schoolhouse built in 1906. Im slowing bringing it back to inhabitable condition. I was wondering what I should use for flooring. Originally I was thinking about wide plank pub flooring, but I'm worried about using wood in an unheated stone house that can get very damp.

I was considering slate tile or even flagstone or cobblestones. Basically I need something that is ultra-resistant to cold and potential moisture AND preserves the rustic feel. Suggestions?
