Can I lay a new surface on top of Corian kitchen counter
So so tired of 20-yr old Corian counter in my kitchen. Very experienced and handy husband would like to save $$ by installing a new surface over this old one. He has installed a soapstone counter in a farmhouse we are working on so knows what he's doing. Any ideas??
Re: Can I lay a new surface on top of Corian kitchen counter
If you don't mind the thickness of the existing Corian, I don't see a reason why not. But it also depends on what kind of counter top you want to install and on one unknown: what's under the Corian. Then again, how much are you going to save? Is it worth it?
I still prefer to rip the Corian and do it right from scratch.
