    Default water heater venting

We have a natural gas water heater that exhausts out the chimney but we are looking to get rid of the chimney and being the water heater is less than 10 years old it would be nice to avoid the extra cost of a new heater. We are planning on raising the house and replacing the old basement

    thank you for your thoughts

sorry i forgot the main point is a power vent add on to the water heater a safe way to vent the water heater or do i need to save the chimney or replace the water heater

    thanks again
