Default Insect proofing deck floor in screenroom

I'm converting a deck to a 3 season porch. Plan to replace old PT 5/4 decking with cedar. Any tips on how to "insect proof" the joints between the decking.

Keith3267 has a formula mixing antifreeze and borat to create a solution insects hate. Wait for his response.

A layer of landscaping fabric would block insects & drafts, breathe to allow the decking to dry as well as let spills drain.

dj1 - Thank you but I wasn't clear, my concern is insects flying up into the space from between the deck boards. I want the spacing for any drainage but I also want to prevent infiltration by insects.

guy48065 - That sounds like a good solution. My first thought was laying down window screening but the landscape fabric may be more effective. Thanks!
