Default Water backs up into kitchen sink when washer is in spin cycle

Every time I do laundry water backs up into the kitchen sink. Our toilets and bathroom sink are also often clogged. We had our drains snaked by plumbers twice but the problem always comes back. There is a large maple in the backyard but the snaking didn't produce an uncommon amount of roots I thought. Is this a root issue, break in the plumbing, clogging issue in pipes or is there something physically wrong with the set up of the plumbing?
    Help!

Since this is a recurrence and not the first time, it's time to run a cam in the drain. You'll see what's in your drain from the house to the street. A little investment that will stop all guess work.

a cam is the first thing i would do also. if nothing shows up on the cam call a good reputable plumber and have him assess the entire plumbing setup in your house. if you live in a small town you could also try calling the plumbing inspector and see if he's willing to stop by.

Sounds like you have some kind of clog that's causing the excess water to pool into your kitchen sink. The piping is supposed to support the drainage of the dish washer. Obviously something is blocking it. You can try turning off the water to your home (a no brainer but it needs to be said sometimes) and remove the plumbing immediately under the sink to see if something is there... Otherwise you'll need to opt for a camera to view what the problem may be.

The problem occurs when he uses the clothes washer not the dishwasher. (never saw a dishwasher with a spin cycle) His problem is further down the line not under the sink. It could also be in the main line. A camera is in order.
