Default Pulling a dent out of wood

I saw an episode of This Old House, Weston House, where someone put a dent in the bottom of an exterior wood door. Tommy said that he had to sand the paint off to pull the dent out. How do you pull a dent out of wood???

You take a damp cloth and put it over the dent, then apply a hot iron to the cloth. The steam will raise the wood back into shape.

After you steam the dent, you will have to sand as it will leave a rough surface.

Now give it a try and let us know how it works out, I personally love before and after pictures.
It's this old house, not this built after your dad was born house.
