Default new used entry door shorter than existing storm door

My house has a 3 season sunroom which means there is only a storm door. I found a used slab entry door to install (for security as well as a step towards climate control). I bought the door off craigslist and the measurement for height wasn't quite what the door really is. My installed storm door is 80" and the new (used) entry door is 79 1/4". Since there is a storm door installed the frame exists.

What are my options for using the shorter entry door? Can this be done?

    Thanks!

This reminds me of the old saying: "measure twice and cut once".

Make sure the top of the door fits the top of the opening, then add whatever strip of wood necessary to the bottom of the door. You can attach with screws and glue, then bondo the faces to fill the cracks and then sand it all flush and neat.

Is it too short on the top or on the bottom?

im with casey. you could easily add to the bottom of the door then just put a sweep which can hide the seem

Thank you for your replies - steel door so I don't think adding to bottom will work in this case. Best option is the high profile threshold (thank you Gizmo).

Actually, adding a sweep would be best, no trip hazard, unlike a tall threshold. You will likely have to shop around to find one, because you want the channel style ("U" shaped), not the angle style. You will need to know the width of the opening and the thickness of the door. Your local big box won't likely have it, try an Ace Hardware, or similar shop, or go to a door supply company.
