Default Large Spiral Stair Case Pads

I have a very large interior spiral stair case (51 steps / 4 floors)that once had wrapped carpet. We really don't want to re-carpet it.

Is there a spiral stair case pad (about 50" from center to end)that can be glued onto the metal stair case to keep the sound down?

    Or any recommendation

    Thanks

Just curious, If the stairtreads are entirely of metal, how was the old wrapped carpet being held down? Are the treads of flat metal or are they a raised diamond plate type? Just pondering how a new tread might be fastened down? A raised diamond plate pattern would not lend itself to glueing.

Metal - flat, no raise factor it's about 50" wide in length from center pole to outer edge

The carpet was two pieces, one piece that was wrapped and another triangle shape that was glued underneath so it looks like it was totally wrapped. padding was glued to the step and then the carpet was glued on top of that. You can see the yellow, which was the glue
