    Default Bathroom remodel

I live in SW Florida and I am remodeling a master bath. Two of the walls are on an outside wall which are cement block construction. My question is where is the best place for moiture barrier, on the block or before installing drywall or cement board of which I will be doing both because I will be installing a shower in one corner of the room?
    Thanks,

Is your exterior block wall waterproofed on the outside?

The moisture barrier should be between the block wall and the CBU.

WHat DJ said is correct unless you are waterproofing your shower with a surface membrane such as Kerdi or Hydroban.

You can find out all things shower and tile related at the John Bridge Tile Forum. Tell the we said hello.
