    It's your call, but what Tom is doing is calculated to his job and guaranteed not to fail.

    Your wall could be different - you're dealing with an exterior wall for crying out loud. Better be safe than sorry.

    Another concern I had about trying to make sure the wall is straight after I take it all apart and I am putting it back together. If you notice in one of the pictures there is an addition that sits on a cement foundation it's attached to the home and the roof on the home is also the same roof that goes over the addition. It don't look like I would be able to straighten this out even if I wanted to since the addition is permenately attached. Any advice would be appreciated.
