    Default ground cover

due to high traffic and in partial shaded area, grass will not survive--st augustine sod and other grass types did not survive--plan to cover area with stepping stones separated 4-5 inches. suggestions of ground cover that could survive in between the stones in middle Georgia area--irrigation system for water available. thank you

The best answer is to see what grows well in the neighbors yards. Take a walk around the neighborhood and see what's growing.

Rupturewort also called Green Carpetis extremely drought tolerant and has attractive green foliage that turns bronzy red in winter. this would be awesome i think!
