    Thumbs up maple flooring

I am restoring an old library with 100 year old maple flooring. Due to extensive damage and penetrations from past remodels, I have to stitch in replacement maple flooring that is made from new wood. The grains look great, but the color is lighter on the new, and they take a stain very differently. Any advice to remedy the situation would be greatly appreciated!

A skilled wood floor stain pro/artist will blend the stock colors on the different pieces to come up with one even look. Use scrap pieces to test for color first.
