my house was build in 1940's and i have been having trouble with moisture in the attic and ceilings in all of the bedrooms and mold i have emailed someone forgot who it was but it was from another tv show but anyways i did what they told me to do. i took the blown insolation out of the soffits and put in a ridge cap and vents and baffles and they told me that that it would take care of it but i only did one side of the house with the vents still need to do the other side of the house but still with one side done should it be dry from moisture or not this driving me crazy!! have any ideas or suggestion and have pic of the room too cant upload it on this page sorry

You said you did whatever you were told to do, but then you said you didn't finish doing whatever they told you to do.

    So which one is it?

Complete doing all of the suggestions and see if there is an improvement.

    Luis,

You might also want to investigate whether household moisture is making its way into the attic space. Every place where the ceiling has a opening is a potential place for moisture to enter the attic: electrical outlets in the ceiling, poorly sealed bathroom vents, both at the ceiling and the ductwork in the attic, attic access panels or staircases which are not properly weatherstripped, etc.

Bathroom and dryer vents should not terminate in the attic.

Finish the eave / soffit and ridge venting then let us know what happens.
