    Thumbs up Leveling a floor

I have a floor in a laundry room that is 3/4- 1 inch lower than the rest of the floor. I would like to level it and install a floating floor. The floor that is there now is cork. Can I use a floor leveling product over the cork? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Depends on which floor leveler you plan on using.

    Agreed.

BTW, I would not recommend a floating floor in a laundry room. Aside from water damage issues, the machines will vibrate and move around like they're out of balance. You would be better off to transition to vinyl or tile for the laundry area. It would also be safer for spills.

In laundry room you can use tiles. As tiles come in various styles and designs and one of the benefit of using them that it is easy to clean. If you want to use less expensive flooring then go for vinyl flooring.
