Looking for replacement hinges for interior doors in a 150 year old new england farm house. The doors are thin, 1.25". The original hinges were cast iron, 6 hole, 3"x2.25" and about 1/8" thick. Most broke when removing the doors for refinishing. There are 3X2.5 modern hinges but they are for wooden screen doors and a much thinner gauge steel. So we are not sure the modern hinges are strong enough. Would rather not re mortice the doors and frames.
