Default What fill-in to put around new windows??

About a year ago we had someone replace front of house windows and now there is about 1 foot area between windows and existing vinyl siding. Suggestions to fill-in this area considering we are in a high humid, sub tropical area and that this is the first thing seen arriving to house so I would like it to be eye-catching and functional--THANK YOU THANK YOU

You'll be re-siding that area of the house with new siding. You can patch it but it will look patched.

It will be unadvisable to fill a gap of about 1 foot with 'fillers'. Re-side the entire wall for that perfect finish look.

Shutters might be interesting if in keeping with the architectural style of the house.

use foam sealant for big gaps. They make one especially for windows, but that one does not expand that much. Be carefule not to break the window.
