    Default Bath

I am getting ready to remodel downstairs bathroom which is on concrete. The old linoleum is has been on the concrete 30 years. I read where a new product Ditra could be laid in Thinset over the old vinyl then lay tile over another layer of Thinset. Does anyone have experience laying Ditra over vinyl?
    Thanks

    Thumbs up Re: Bath

The Schluter Ditra website has installation photos as well as video on installing this product. I personally don't see a problem with laying it over tile.

keep in mind every layer of thinset you add is at minimum a 1/4 inch of added heigth not to metion the thickness of the tile. I recoment getting a big and meant floor sc****r. Save yourself some money with a better finished product. All it costs is the sweat of your brow...or ya could get lazy
