    Default Chimney Liner mortar fill

I have found that my stainless steel chimney liner has no insulation or mortar between it and the old ceramic liner. I saw an episode on This Old House where mortar was poured between the insert and the old liner but I don't know what kind of mortar was used or where to get it. The house was built in 1963 and the liner was installed in 1992. Any ideas?

A special light weight concrete is used for that but is not necessary if you have a stainless steel liner.

Slush concrete is what you want to use, if you have to use mortar at all.
