    Default Low water pressure

How can you confirm if low water pressure is caused by a build up in the pipes or from some other reason? Our 30 year house has low water pressure which has gradually gotten worse. We have well water and use a water softener sporadically. If it is from build up, is the easiest fix to replace the pipes? Thanks

The first thing I would check would be the softener. Try turning on the bypass.
