    Default ventilation

    Hi there,
What is the best way that I can provide my condo with fresh filtered out-door air? Is an air-exchange the way to go?
I heat with electric baseboards although I do have mechanical
ventilation over stove and one in the bathroom.

Running your stove and bath exhaust fans would provide fresh air but typically only exhaust a 100 cubic feet per minute of airflow each so, if you have a 1000 sq ft house w/ 10 ft ceilings it would only provide one air change every fifty minutes. You might only turn them on when you leave the house since they're usually pretty noisy.

And, it would not be filtered air unless you opened a screened window and put some sort of filter over the opening.

Another idea might be to purchase a portable air cleaner with a HEPA filter, which could clean the room air, from an open window.
    Good Luck from Columbiana, Alabama
