    Default Concrete Floors

I have a slab house. I want to take up my carpets and stain the concrete. Do I need to do anything to the slab before I stain?

My first question is why? Second question, is this in the house? If it is, it will be cold, most likely have cracks and not be as smooth as you want it. This is a job for a pro. As a painter, I don't have the equipment to do this job. They need a concrete polisher with diamond heads. Do not try to acid wash it, or use any other method. If you do, you will have a big mess.

Slab finish is never 100% perfect and the main reason for that is that builders know that finished floors will be installed over the concrete.

But if you want to keep the concrete as your floor, you'll have to finish it properly, polish as mentioned and paint with panit for slabs.

Personally, I don't recommend using the slab as floor.

What will happen over time ; the walkways will wear down and the edges will still look new.

    Hi
Concrete flooring is appropriate for residential floors. There have a lot of homeowners whose are not aware all of the benefits to concrete flooring.so now you need to think deeply and then decide .

    Thank U
