Backyard ground sloping towards foundation forming a small pond during rain
How to fix a sunken ground attaching the foundation wall, because its sloping down towards the foundation wall causing water forming a small pond every time it rains, at least 2 - 3 inches deep of water on heavier rain, almost an aera of 7 - 8 square feet. Luckily there is nothing wrong in the basement yet (visually). Its hard to tell since the basement is finsihed. The problem started many years ago since we used to have a couple of heavy stone material sitting close to the wall, I guess in the long term it causes the ground to sink. But we have removed it and put some bricks under those concrete slaps because they were already sloped down towards the wall. And I guess it didn't work out.
Thank you very much and please reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nelson

a couple suggestions....
When you take up the concrete slabs you can
build up the area under them so that is slopes away from the foundation then put the slabs back.
put down a heavy plastic liner and then a couple of perforated pipes that run downhill to daylight then back fill with stone then put the slabs back
there may be other choices, but the view in the pics is limited...
