    Default Tile Bleeding

Recently retiled shower. Small decorative rock tiles are bleeding a rust color. What is best way to remove stain and keep it from bleeding?

What kind of rock did you use?

I've seen slate tiles produce rust, due to the iron content.

Clean the rust off, then seal with a good quality sealant. Repeat.

The only way to solve the problem is to remove the rocks. They have iron in them which is oxidizing. You can stop the oxidation by preventing all water, including humidity from getting to the iron. I know of no way to achieve that aside from removing the stones.
