    Default Remove concrete deck anchors

    Hi all,

I just removed part of our upper deck, including two 20-ft support posts. Each post was attached to a heavy-duty metal bracket embedded in a concrete footing. So now I have two big concrete footings sticking out of the ground. How can I remove them? They're big (18x18x12) and heavy.

    Thanks!

Unused concrete footing/anchor can be removed. Knock it with a sledge hammer or a jack hammer, just below grade, and cover with dirt.

If the footings only 12" deep then dig it out then bust it up

Cut it 3 times & it's still to short.
