Default What is the part called?

I bought a clawfoot tub at a salvage shop to refinish and save on making over my bathroom; THEN I checked the cost of plumbing parts and learned of my delusion. I've been able to find quality parts at decent prices to put together the shower frame, riser, etc. but I need a little sort of twisted figure-8 part that the shower frame can go through horizontally and the shower riser can go through vertically - I'm in the sticks and can't easily get to a good plumbing supply store and don't know what to search for -
