On the Barrington Beach project, I know noticed that, in order to seal the windows from the water, you used aluminum coated tape, and then put copper plating on top of that. I learned in Chemistry class that aluminum and copper, with the presence of water, are very corrosive. That's why people don't typically wire houses with both aluminum and copper wiring. Is there something with the tape or plating I am missing? Just from the very basic knowledge I have, it seems like that combination is not a good idea.
