    Default Removing Grout

I installed tile the entryway into my home but did not do a sufficient job of removing all of the grout from the tiles and the grout dried on the tiles. Is there any way to remove this grout from the tiles? The tiles themselves are rough so I cannot sc**** it off without damaging the tile.

First try straight white vinegar and a scrub brush.

If that fails go to Home Burrito and get some sulfamic acid crystals which get mixed with warm water before use with the same scrub brush.

    DO NOT use muriatic acid.

any store that sells tile and related materials sells a "grout and haze" remover. it's a liquid that dissolves the grout and haze on the tile.

The grout haze remover is often Phosphoric acid which isn't as effective as the much cheaper white vinegar and sulfamic acid.
