    Default Window/Concrete Installation

We recently installed new windows in our home. Two of the new windows are partially below grade. The installers did frame the windows but there is a void between the blocking and the existing concrete walkway/patio. They instructed me to fill the voids with concrete to keep out water, leaves etc. As there are many qualities and consistencies of concrete I'm not sure which one to use. Any suggestions??? Thanks...john

Common hyrdaulic cement will work fine for this.
I'm surprised the installers wouldn't have sealed that area around the window frame when they installed them.

Somehow that part got overlooked. There's no doubt that one sack will be adequate. As concrete isn't something I use daily and the DIY stores have 50 different types I wanted to insure I was using the correct product....Thanks...john
