    Default Light Up light switch

I have a light switch in my bedroom that controls the outside flood lights which I turn on if I hear a noise, etc. I have found out a couple of times that someone turned the lights on and left them on all night/day without knowing. Is there a way to install a light up switch (I have the paddle switches) that lights up when it is on? I can't find anything on this. Thanks in advance for advice or just letting me know it can't be done. thanks.

You're looking for a * switch with pilot lamp *.
Generally these are found in commercial supplies.
    Here's a couple of examples ............

correct, any electrical supply will sell them but i believe that you can get them at home depot also. it's a very simple DIY project.

I have yet to see these at HD or Lowe's, but I found mine at an Ace hardware.

Both home depot and loews carry these switches but it's best to buy them on the net at around half the price....
