Default I damaged my wood floors with a brillo pad! HELP!

Like a big dope, I attempted to clean paint that was splattered on the floor and used a wet brillo pad to remove the paint. The paint was easily removed but now I have scuff marks from the brillo pad on several areas of my wood floors... it is very noticeable, especially when the light hits it. Are there any quick fixes available, without having to buff and refinish the floors? I have a six month old at the apt. which makes it all very complicated. I read about mineral spirits and other types of products, such as, Rejuvenate floor restorer from Home Depot... I don't know what works...
I'm lost! Please help me salvage my beautiful floors... Thank you.
