    Default double vanity, one drain

I have a very wide vanity with a sink on one side. I would like install a second sink, and tie it into the other drain. Both sinks would use the same drain. Is this a bad idea?

It's done frequently in master bathrooms. If you have a 2" drain in the wall, a second sink will not be such a big problem.

Shouldn't be a big deal but you need to find out how many fixtures our on that line already local and federal codes only lows a maximum fixtures per pipe so if its only that one sink your fine but if it ties into a kitchen below or whatever you may have to many fixtures on that drain already.
