Default hot or cold. (toilet supply)

to avoid tank sweating, and to keep the toilet bowl cleaner, i was thinking of running hot water to toilet. any thoughts, experiences,or pros and cons on the subject?

Hi great experiment idea. Hot water will cause more condensation likely. If you have a humidifier in home i recommend turning it down to stop the condensation instead.

They sell small mixing valves to add just enough hot water to prevent sweating or insulated tanks, I think that would be a better option. If your water closet developed one of those mysterious leaks and the toilet was quietly running all that time, a water bill is enough to make you flip never mind the fuel to make it hot.

Flushing money down the drain .... it would be cheaper to insulate the interior of the tank.
