    I applaud you creative persistence, but after all these postings, you need a photo that shows more and is clearer...to get a good suggestion.

    These new photos are a little better.

    First, dig into the hole to verify that you have a trap. If you do, it's good.

    Then, I don't see a problem in moving the drain 1 foot, assuming that you will have the space and the slope required for smooth draining.

    Doing it right requires experience and knowledge and the job has to be inspected (by a building dept inspector). If you are not sure about how to do it, I strongly suggest to get a lic. plumber. It will be money well spent.

    would't the trap be the 90 down, 90 up? perhaps if you have a photo or a link to a trap. i am 99% sure i have it, just want to be sure. I also have talked to a local plumber.

    Picture #2 shows what seems to be a trap.

    Work with your plumber and you are good to go. have him check the connections, check slope and check for leaks.

    One more remark:

    Where your white pvc (I think it's a 2" pipe) goes into the larger pipe: it should be sealed.
