Just bought a new slide in oven and when I turn on the burners the fan kicks on and blows air out the front (right above the oven door) which is rather quite cold. I contacted the company but apparently all stoves are now made with the vent in the front instead of the vent on the top, which my old one had. I can't believe someone else hasn't complained because it is very uncomfortable. I'm assuming that it has to draw cold air from somewhere and wondering if I put some type of insulation behind the stove itself if that would help.
