Default Re: 100 year old attic - insulation is wrong - which scenario makes the most sense?

    Steven,
Can you email me the guy who did your energy audit. I already have 2 guys (2 separate company) come in and told me that I need to shell out $200 for the audit.
I had one done but the sad thing is the guy did'nt even did a blower door test. He did however went to my basement and took some tests like he told me to turn on all the bathroom / kitchen ventilator on and the furnace too and he had this handheld machine where the're negative numbers. He said the numbers are good. Anyway, he told me that I will get the $200 back if I went thru the program
which of course is through his represented company.
    Appreciate it much.

Thumbs up Re: 100 year old attic - insulation is wrong - which scenario makes the most sense?

Hi - I used Ciel Energy which I found on this NJ site:

    http://www.njcleanenergy.com/tradeal...rsearch/?id=57

I haven't had my audit review with them yet but it was free and they were on the NJ Clean Energy list of approved companies.

    Steve
