    Default Pocket Door

How do you remove a 1960's pocket door to replace the hardware.

    Dynamite!

There is usually door stop along the top and pocket side of the jamb. Remove it from the track side of the jamb and then you tilt the door bottom out and lift it off the track.

If you need clarification, the track is J shaped and the rollers sit in the bottom of the J. You want to remove the door stop from the back of the J ( J <--- this side ). It's the same principle as hanging a shower door.
I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!
