    Default non-slip floors?

I am a stroke survivor and need to be careful not to slip and fall. I am about to remodel my house and would like some advice on which flooring I should put in the bathroom and kitchen. Thank you for any input!

There are rubber mats as well as coatings for tile which increase the COF Co-efficient of friction.

Is there a local agency that has experts on how you can make staying in your home easier?

There are no slip self sticking strips you can lay on the tiles.
I've used strips called "permastick safety treads" - good for tile, stairs, ladders, trucks, deck and so on, and they work fine.

...And another must have product for you: grab bars in slippery areas.
Grab bars have to be attached directly into studs, so professional installation may be required.
