Default Self leveling cement and Ditra

Does anyone know if Ditra can be installed on self leveling cement (about 1/8 inch thick)? If so, proper method?

Also, can self leveling cement be sandwiched between plywood sublfloor and plywood underlayment? Subfloor is 3/4 and underlayment would be 3/8.

It can by using an unmodified thinset -- but it will depend on how well the self leveling cement has bonded to whatever substrate it was applied to. In other words if the self leveling concrete breaks apart from improper bonding or *bounce* in the floor this will affect the Ditra bond and subsequent tiles applied on top.

Not sure why you would be doing this ?

Good point. Hadn't thought of that. Thanks.
