Wall Heater Installation Question
I am doing some finish work on a remodel. The electrician ran a light blue and neutral wire to the location for a small Nutone electric bathroom wall heater. It is coming out of a steel 4S box through aluminum flex. Question is why he did not run a ground wire? Is it not necessary in this scenerio? The light blue wire is hot, coming from the circuit that the wall heater feed is on? Do I just treat the light blue as hot in connecting to the corresponding THNN wires of the wall heater and of course the same for the neutral, or do I need to run a ground wire through the conduit, connect to device, and then tie in to the ground in the box??? Please help if you can! I am trying to get some final stuff done before a refi appraisal . Happy Holidays everyone. Thanks.
