Howdy just read a brief article about how much water vapor comes threw masonry into basements . An how putting foam on the insider side reduced it better then on the outside. So having a old home with several different foundation surfaces - brick, block, & concrete stem walls. I'm not about to add foam to the huge basement walls and floor too$$$$. So wondering if anyone has used the water blocking products to the interior to reduce this water vapor intrusion? Has anyone uses it on concrete slabs? I was shocked in sandy soils just how much water vapor came into the test home and so were the testers. I sent a request to the books authors to inquire how to contact the test researchers about if they tested further with with these non foam products will add more if i get a response.
