    forced hot air? water filled radiators? steam? hydronic?

    Gibson is part of Nordyne. Most likely it's a forced air unit.

    Get a reputable HVAC guy to give you an evaluation on what to do:
    from checking your venting system to the size of your cooling and heating units. Your situation is very common.

    Also check for adequate air return. Closing tightly fitting doors can choke off the return, which means the heat can't get into the room if the air can't get out.

    Yes its forced air an i also dont have any returns up stairs

    Howdy leaving the upstairs doors ajar so the air can circulate will help. Having a heating contractor come and check the flow rate at the vents upstairs an possible speed up the furnace fan motor is another easy help.First is the furnace filter clean change it every 30 dys during the winter is another great help...
