Default Cleaning latex interior paint from brick

Hi, and thanks for any help you can give.

My painter tracked interior latex paint up my brick steps. It was probably somewhat diluted with water but it doesn't seem to be fading or wearing off. It's been about a month.

I read on another board to just wait and it'll wear off, and scrubbing or attempting to clean it will likely drive the paint into the pores. It's noticeable enough that I want it gone.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Try a very vigorous cleaning with a power washer using a 15 or 25 degree tip at close range. You will then have to clean the entire area around it, otherwise you will probably have a clean spot standing out. I would hesitate to use the zero degree tip, especially if you have a soft variety of brick. You could possibly erode the surface.
