    Question Convection heater

    I am going to install a convection heater in my house, it is a 240 volt 2000 watts wall mounted heater what I need to know is what size and type of cable do I use to hard wire it in and what size amp breaker do I install into the breaker panel.

    2000 watts divided by 240 volts equals 8.33 amps. You can install it on a 15 amp breaker and use 14/2 plus ground wire, or 14/3 plus ground if it needs 120 volts for controls.
