Question What Glue is Used in Insulating Boards?

Hello, I saw a program with Tom Silva installing insulating boards in a basement and just want to know what kind of glue can be used with the boards against concrete.
    Thank you, Mike.

Welcome to the forum Mike ...
if you're referring to rigid foam insulation then something that is formulated for this material ... like PL300.
Otherwise if you use something that isn't compatiable you run the risk of a negative chemical reaction and melting the rigid foam.

    Hope this helps.

I also saw that show and was wondering what nails were the ones that Tom Silva used. Where can I get those nails?

And the pink boards Tom used, those were 2-inch thick with tongue and groove, at Home Depot I only saw 1 inch boards with tongue and groove, any idea where I can buy those?

I am in St. Louis, MO.

    Thanks!!!
