    Default Storm Door Ventilation

We installed a new Anderson 4000 full view insulated glass storm door two weeks ago. This past weekend week he noticed that the trim around the window in our main exterior door is warping off and the paint is HOT HOT HOT to the touch. I did a little research (after the fact)and found out that we should have installed a door with a partial screen because the front door gets sunlight for quite a few hours everyday and needs to have cool air circulation to vent the hot air out.

Is there a way that I can vent the storm door somehow? Perhaps at the top of the door jamb and into the wall/attic space above? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!!
