    Default Permanently remove a toilet?

I'm converting a half bath to a utility room and want to permanently remove the toilet. How do I safely close off the drain line? The house was built in 1982.

    Thanks for your help.

the toilet flange has to be removed and the pipe capped or fully removed.. call a plumber for this. then you will have to patch the floor
fire up the saw and make some dust
